POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically driven Post Processor Developer to join our team in Bangalore. As a Mastercam Post Processor Developer, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining post processors that bridge the gap between Mastercam CAM software and a wide range of CNC machine tools and controllers – ensuring precise, reliable, and efficient machine output for our customers across the manufacturing industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, customize, and debug post processors for a variety of CNC machine tools and controllers.
- Analyze machine tool specifications and controller documentation to build accurate and efficient post processors.
- Test and validate post processors against real-world machining scenarios to ensure reliability and precision.
- Work closely with the applications and technical support teams to understand and fulfill machine-specific customer requirements.
- Support customers with post processor-related queries, modifications, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain thorough documentation for all developed and modified post processors.
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements in CNC technology, controllers, and CAM software to maintain the highest level of expertise.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
- Knowledge of CNC controllers.
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming.
- Experience with Mastercam or any major CAM software is a strong advantage.
- Analytical mindset with sharp attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills — you will work directly with customers and internal teams.
- Freshers with strong fundamentals and a genuine interest in CNC and CAM technology are equally welcome to apply.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
